Training Needs Analysis
A Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is a step-by-step guide in identifying the problem areas of an organisation, and also a guide to help correct these.
An ATI-Mirage TNA helps organisations to prioritise and focus on developing the specific skills that align with the organisations strategic objectives.
The goal of a TNA is to prevent a “band-aid” solution and rather put in place a system that will cover the appropriate timeline, resources and energy needed to find the perfect solution. The resulting TNA Solution Plan outlines training and non-training strategies to fill this performance gap often resulting in a customised learning program.
TNA’s can be conducted in a variety of ways including interviews, observation, focus groups, surveys, assessments and work sample analysis.
ATI-Mirage uses the following process when preparing a TNA;
- Determine Organisational Needs
- Identify Learning Requirements
- Assess Current Knowledge
- Individual Gap Analysis
- Report Solutions Plan
