Objectives of this course are to give participants the skills necessary to schedule, chart and summarise tasks using Microsoft Project. It provides an overview of the role of Microsoft Project in Project Management and provides an understanding of how to apply the features of this powerful application in developing a project management plan.
This is best for: New users of Microsoft Project, those who have used the package a little and want to improve their skills, and those who have used it in the past and wish to refresh their skills
Software Notes: This course is applicable to Project 2016/2019 and Project 365 (Plan 3 and Plan 5) desktop application versions of Microsoft Project. This course does not cover browser-based versions of Microsoft Project, such as Project for the Web, Project Plan 1, Project Online or Project Web App. If you’re attending ATI-Mirage’s venue, the course will be delivered on Microsoft Project Professional 2019.
Experience with spreadsheets and an understanding of Windows concepts is essential. Knowledge of project management theoretical concepts is also highly recommended.
