Agile Overview
This short video by ScrumStudy provides a high-level overview to agile.
Agile project management is an iterative development methodology that values human communication and feedback, adapting to changes, and producing working results. Instead of betting everything on a “big bang” launch, an agile team delivers work in small, but consumable, increments. Requirements, plans, and results are evaluated continuously so teams have a natural mechanism for responding to change quickly.

What is Agile?
According to popular Agile guru Jim Highsmith: Being Agile is to possess the ability to both create and respond to change in order to profit in a turbulent business environment. Agility is the ability to balance flexibility and stability.
Agile is being adaptive to change; being flexible; being able to cope with change.
Why is Agile useful?
In rapidly changing environments, predictive methods do not succeed, therefor adaptive methods for project management become necessary.
Who can use Agile?
The practice of Agile is not restricted to software development only. It can be used in any project irrespective of its complexity.
Industries that face rapid changes will find Agile helpful. fast paced changes in technology, systems, and consumer behaviour have rendered traditional models inefficient.
What is the most widely used Agile methodology?
The ultimate value in Agile development is that it enables teams to deliver value faster, with greater quality and predictability, and greater aptitude to respond to change. Scrum and Kanban are two of the most widely used Agile methodologies.
